History
This group tends to look at local history subjects which have included the SOE at Beaulieu during WW2, the area known as Beaulieu Rails and it's past occupants, the Blitz in Southampton and the story of the Hon Elizabeth Montagu. The members also arrange trips to local sites of interest and these have included the Tudor museum in Southampton, a guided tour of Lymington, and a guided tour of the Lyndhurst museum and the Verderers Court.
Talks/discussions are led by members of the group, individually or in groups, on their chosen historical subject/event.
The group meets in St Andrews Church , Dibden Purlieu.
