Wine Appreciation
We meet monthly in a member's house or in The Hub in Hythe Marina Village
We taste and discuss 4 wines in an evening usually sourced from a local retailer (combined value £40)
One member agrees in advance to be the provider, usually to a theme
Our aim is to widen the knowledge of the group and introduce new wines to people.
We have tried a variety of wines from Spain, Beaujolais, the Loire, New Zealand, South Africa, Australia, Chile, and had a specific "Fizz" tasting event in December complete with canapes, featuring sparkling wine from Saumur in the Loire valley, from Italy a Prosecco, France again with a Cremant D'Alsace and a Champagne.
