Ems Valley

Rambling

There is no limit to numbers. We meet at 9.30 am for a 9.45 am start at different venues.
Average walks are 4 to 6 miles with a stop for refreshments. There is normally a longer
all daywalk in June or July—when if possible we arrange a stop at a local pub for lunch.
Sensible shoes are needed on all walks. There could be styles or farm gates on any walk.
We do try to keep clear of any farm animals.
So come and join us. Weather permitting our walks are on the 1st Wednesday of the month.
Please check the Ems Valley Web site regularly for any updated information.
Name and phone number of the Leader of each walk will be given. You must contact them
in the event of bad weather to ensure that the walk will still take place.
Detail of all walks can be found under “Groups” then "Rambling" on the new Web site.

When you are out with the walking group you must have on you your name, address and an emergency contact number. Please not in your phone as if this is PIN protected nothing is gained.{REMEMBER:- YOU WALK AT YOUR OWN RISK}

Dates for your Diary
Wed May 1st BOSHAM

The walk is flat and not too long but very pretty if the sun obliges. We will meet at 9.30 for a 9.45 start in the car park behind the Coop in Delling Lane in Bosham. (Drive along the A259 towards Chichester and turn right at the White Swan roundabout. The Coop is a couple of hundred yards down on the right-hand side. Grid Reference 810051). There might be some mud on the route, but it is mostly firm. There is a popular café called the Crate, which serves good coffee and snacks, in the car park. If anyone would like a lift from Emsworth we will have 2 spare seats in our car.

Walk Leader David Sawyer
