Welcome to those of you have recently asked to join our mailing list. The following is a guide to what's going on over the next few months. Please feel free to let us know if you have any other suggestions for topics, visits or activities.

UPCOMING EVENTS

FEB 2020
Monday 17th February at 11am
Tour of the Paisley Secret Collection
This will be a general look at the entire collection now that all of the artefacts have been moved into the Paisley High Street premises. The Social History section in particular is a great for a walk down memory lane.
(Maximum party size 15)
We'll send out an email on this very shortly and it will be first come first served but we will look at putting on a second date if it is oversubscribed.

MAR 2020
Monday 16th March at 11am
We are very pleased to let you know that Valerie Reilly has agreed to present "The Great and the Good – a tour of Woodside Cemetery (without getting wet!)"
The venue will be upstairs at Fairfulls. More details to follow.

APR 2020
Monday 20th April at 11am
Topic again to be confirmed but we hope to fill the slot with a talk on at least one of the local areas of Paisley. Again, more details to follow

MAY 2020
Monday 18th May at noon (Timing change to make sure you're paying attention !)
Kilbarchan Weavers Cottage
The cottage doesn't open till 13:00 so the suggestion is to meet earlier and have a spot of lunch before the visit in Habbies Pub which is a short walk away.

OTHER ONGOING ACTIVITIES:

Radical Rising Project (Joint research project with Glasgow West End U3a)
Some of the group are working on a joint project with Glasgow WE U3A on the Radical Rising of 1820 in Scotland. If you'd like more information, check out Glasgow West End website, or contact Helen. We intend to hold an event in Paisley in April 2020 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the rising so watch this space !!

Re-imagining the Museum
Dorothy is continuing to work with James in relation to our future involvement.

Best wishes
Helen & Dorothy
