Family History
The aim of the Family History group is to help members make progress from starting their research, or extending existing trees. The membership has a good level of knowledge and experience. Although it is now much easier to research from home using the internet, working within a group is beneficial because members can share problems, and also successes which then become learning exercises for all.
These meetings give you the chance to share your own research or to discuss the aims of new research. You will discover the tools that should provide a successful and satisfying outcome.
The group meets between 2pm and 4pm on alternate Fridays at the Tollgate Hotel.

| Fri May 3rd | The next alternate Friday meeting will be held at the Tollgate Hotel, Blurton at 2pm on Friday 3rd May 2024. The meeting will take place in the restaurant unless there is a function taking place, in which case it will move to the sports bar (opposite the bar in the corridor).
