The line dancing group meets most weeks on a Tuesday in the Church Hall, Long Sutton, from 10:00am to 11:00am (Group Leader Ron will advise when there is no meeting). There is a charge of £2 per session to cover the hire of the hall. It's great fun, and perfect gentle exercise.
New members are always welcome, and don’t worry if you haven't line danced before. This beginner’s group is designed for those who have little or no experience of line dancing, or for those who haven’t danced for some time. You’ll learn new steps and routines at a comfortable pace, gradually building up a repertoire of easy to moderate dances to a varied soundtrack of music.
Ron is an experienced Line Dancing teacher and choreographer, and his dances are performed around the world. With his easy style and sense of humour, Ron encourages everyone to have a bit of fun while learning some nifty footwork.
Remember, you don’t stop dancing because you grow old – you grow old because you stop dancing!
