Kington

Military History 1870-1952

Coffee and cakes are provided while we explore Military History. The group meets every second Friday of the month (August excepted) in the Eco classroom at Lady Hawkins School, Kington. The usual format is a talk for the first half of the session on a war-related topic, a break for coffee and then more talk or discussion or a relevant video. Outside visits and external speakers have also featured.

We meet up at the School Office at the school prior to 10am where we report to register as visitors.

There is a charge of £1 per member for each visit, to cover expenses such as tea, coffee and of course cake

Visitors are welcome to attend on a 'try it and see' basis. You are then welcome to attend further meetings on a member basis, by joining the Kington U3A.
