Oswestry

SOCIAL HISTORY

The Social History Group's current focus is a research project on life in Oswestry during 1851.

We have been meeting for several years and done a great deal of valuable work which is now lodged with Oswestry Library's local history section.

We are looking for people who are interested in local history. The emphasis will be on learning about the town for yourself and there are lots of resources available at the library.

We meet 2.00-4.00pm at Oswestry Library, on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.

Group Leader: Carol James
