Striders
Group Convener :- Richard Harding
The Striders Walking Group do a moderate to strenuous walk of around 5 to 7 miles which will include hills and stiles.
The group offers everyone the chance to enjoy a walk every Tuesday, in the countryside of the Wye Valley, Forest of Dean or local to Caldicot After a walk the group usually retire to a hostelry for lunch. Occasionally day trips are arranged to places further afield e.g. Gower, Herefordshire,also arranged is an annual holidday.
Currently 4 groups walk every week ( see: Amblers, Strollers & Stragglers ). Each group is run by its own convener.
A programme of monthly walks is published every three months which may be subject to alteration, please check with the Convenor, using the blue bird at top right hand of this page for your message.
NB if you have missed any walks check with the leader that the schedule is still valid
