The Bridge Group meets at Caldicot Library each Thursday from 2.00pm until 4.00pm.

The group is open to players with a wide range of experience from beginner to expert.

There is no charge as U3A is a Registered Charity and we are foregoing tea and biscuits.

Millions of people play bridge worldwide in clubs, tournaments, online and with friends at home, making it one of the world's most popular card games, particularly among seniors.

Bridge, is a trick-taking game using a standard 52-card deck. It is played by four players in two competing partnerships, with partners sitting opposite each other around a table.

Just to whet your appetite, The picture cards have a value, Aces 4 points, Kings 3, Queens 2 and Jacks (or Knaves) 1 point. If you have 12 points or more you can open the bidding.
