Local History
The Local History Group is currently not meeting while waiting for a new leader.

We primarily study the historical past of Maldon and Heybridge but we also include the history of other places and events of interest in our part of Essex.
We enjoy talks on specialised subjects given by visiting speakers, plus visits to local museums and historical buildings. Members are encouraged to study aspects of local history of particular interest to themselves and to share their research with other members of the group.
