Dog Walking Group
These are short walks round the outskirts of Pewsey. The emphasis is on both dogs and their friends enjoying time to exercise and socialise while enjoying our beautiful countryside. I try to make the walks as inclusive as I am able. I would however like to add that if anyone has a bitch on heat to let me know beforehand, as it is kinder at these times not to come as it will cause ripples even if the dogs are neutered!
We meet on the 1st and 3rd Monday between 2.30-3pm (time may vary) for 1-1.5 hours. We meet on the left side of the Old Bank (Dentists) infront of the old sheds/ new cottage.
If you’d like to join Josh and Margaret, you can send a message to the Dog Walking Group Leader
Recent News:
We have enjoyed six walks, round the fields and footpaths of Pewsey.
The object is for both owners and dogs to enjoy the company of others, which gives us all a lift. I know that Josh certainly enjoys it as he becomes quite excited at seeing his friends.
July 1st Today we had a lovely walk across the fields by The Coopers to Kepnal drove then round and under cuckoo bridge along to the farm and back across the field to Swan Meadow down the footpath across Raffins lane into Wilderness Row and back by the football pitch and recreation ground into the High Street before going our separate ways. Currently there are four of us, Josh and Tangle with Maggie and Me.
I hope other dogs and their people will come and join us
