We endeavour to provide a varied selection to suit all tastes typically including theatre visits, places and buildings of national and/or historical interest, National Trust properties, museums, galleries, plus Christmas markets and shopping trips. Our days are designed to be leisurely and, other than theatre visits, you are mostly free to explore at your own pace and stop for lunch when you choose. Transport is by coach and we also arrange venue entrance tickets giving you the benefit of the discounted prices that we obtain for group bookings.
The information/application forms, which include full details of the visit, are normally mailed out three times a year. All members are welcome to apply for places on these visits. Depending on ticket availability at a given venue, it may be necessary in some cases to change the day.
