Literature Group 1
In the Literature Group we read aloud selections from the books on our programme and discuss points of interest we find in them. Our choice of texts is drawn from literary masterpieces of English and World Literature. While no member of the group is obliged to lead the discussion, all our sessions are led by volunteers from within the group.
Participation in our discussions is always lively, instructive and above all fun and good "craic”.
Most of our members acquire the books for themselves but some are available in the N.I.Library system.
Our new meeting place is Finaghy Community Centre on Wednesday mornings from 10.30 – 12.30. We were pleased to welcome some new members and any enquiries about membership should be addressed to the Convenor, June Martin.
