Meeting on the 4th Wednesday of each month at the United Reformed Church, Western Road, Romford. 1.30 to 3.30pm in the Lower worship room. The charge is £3.00 per session, plus materials. Although most of the materials we have in our cupboards, and as we will only be completing small samplers the cost should be minimal. We explore crafts we love but have never tried or continue with our cherished favourites.
If you would like to come along to be among other crafters, enjoy great conversation and even complete the project you started years ago, or learn a new one. Then this is the place for you.
How are we doing?
The Craft group is going from strength to strength. We now have regular core of members attending, enjoying an afternoon of craft, chat and lots of laughing. Over the past few months, we have attempted, developed and learnt a variety of new and old skills. Book Folding led by Karen, we have made key rings, Maria showed the basic stitches in crochet and Janet demonstrated bead work. In July we will be looking at Black and Red work hopefully making a small sampler. Not all the group undertakes the focus craft of the month preferring to do their own projects
