Local History

The Local History Group is currently meeting at 2.00pm on the third Monday of each month in Codnor Methodist Church. The group has a mix of activities, including talks by members, books, film and radio reviews and small scale practical work.

The Programme is :

17th February : “A Day Out by Train”
16th March : “The Ogles’ Houses”
20th April : “A Quaker’s Walk”
18th May : “Local Churches Part 2”
15th June : Robert Mee on “A Potted History of Heanor”
20th July : visit (tba)
