Spanish is a Romance language that originated in the Castile region of Spain and today has hundreds of millions of native-speakers across the world.
Spanish is one of the six official languages of the United Nations. It is also used as an official language by the European Union, the Organisation of American States, the Union of South American Nations and by many other international organisations.
This group is the starting point for learning the Spanish language basics.
This Group is one of five focussed on the Spanish Language.

This will be a new Beginners Group for those with little or no knowledge of the language. We now have a good list of interested members but still need someone who speaks Spanish to lead the group. If you can help please contact Tom as soon as possible.
