Scottish Country Dancing
Interest Group leader: Betty Arrol & Tom Arrol

Meeting venue: Ickenham.
This is a wonderful way of keeping fit – the mind has to be alert to remember the patterns and steps, the body has to be active to complete each dance, and the sociable nature of the dance and the beat of the music help forget all your troubles.
No special dress is required. Despite the logo, casual clothing is the order of the day but you will dance more easily if you have soft, flat shoes.
There are many local groups of Scottish Country Dancers and anyone who is comfortable with the steps, timing and pattern of the dances may want to expand their experience. The leaders will inform the Group when there is an opportunity to dance with a live band. There is the opportunity to enjoy Scottish Country dancing not only in the United Kingdom but worldwide.
