Petanque
Interest Group Leader: Peter Huggett
Meeting information: Meets at 10am on every Thursday of each month, between April and Mid September.
Meeting venue: Uxbridge Sports Centre.
Petanque is a form of boules where the goal is to toss or roll hollow steel balls as close as possible to a small wooden ball called a cochonnet (literally "piglet") or jack, while standing inside a circle with both feet on the ground.
We have all the equipment needed and there is always someone on hand to give help and some instruction if required. We are a very friendly group and always look forward to having new players. Suitable for all levels.
If you require any further information please contact Peter.
The 2024 Pétanque season has started and the group now meets every Thursday through to Mid September.
