Shaftesbury & Gillingham

Scrabble

SCRABBLE is tremendously sociable when played SGU3A style! The players become friends, meeting at The Slade in Gillingham on Friday mornings, where we enjoy their wonderful coffee and cake for those who'd like it. It can be the highlight of the week. We welcome anyone with an enthusiasm to play, at all levels, and treat the morning as a learning experience where words are concerned. There is keen but not too serious competition, playing in pairs usually. We currently number 7 and have scope to grow to around 10 or 12, so if you are interested in joining, do contact the leader.

To contact the Group Leader send an e-mail message by clicking on the "Blue Pigeon" icon. This will be in the top right hand corner of this page if you are viewing this on a computer, if you are viewing this website on a tablet or phone then the icon will be at the bottom of the page.
