December Xmas General Meeting- The Music Man Project
Despite the increased mask wearing, absence of refreshments and lousy weather, an audience of around 90 were delighted to welcome back David Stanley and The Music Man Project. David explained to us how difficult it was for the MMP students to adapt to having their daily routine so radically changed during the lockdowns, but they came back to us full of energy, talent and a new Xmas musical programme. We had a very moving Solo by Claire singing "When a Child is Born".

There followed a hilarious high speed rendition of "The 12 Days of Christmas", as you can see by the photo. MMP are booked back at the Albert Hall in 2024, and who knows, their dream of going to Broadway may one day be a well deserved reality.
