Ukulele
We are an enthusiastic Ukulele interest group. Each of us was totally new to playing the Uke and we encourage each other to be the best we can be or want to be. Our aim is to play and sing songs that we like and we are uplifted by that magical experience that music gives. We were absolute beginners and we encourage any member to have no fear of taking up the ukulele. We meet every two weeks on Wednesdays from 10:30 till 12:00 in Farndon Memorial Hall.

BEGINNERS CLASS 3 Apr. Great session today. More work with the practice grid then played seven songs including Enjoy yourself, Dirty Old Town and You are my Sunshine. Sounded really good. Keep practicing.

24 April Focus songs Islands in the Stream, Jambalaya, Save the Last Dance, Singing in the Rain/Blue Moon. I have corrected my mistake on Singing/Blue Moon and reprinted it for next time.
10 April Several people bag from holidays or illness so a good number made a good sound. We played 12 songs including Ain't She Sweet, Any Dream Will Do, Five Foot Two, Folsom Prison Blues plus the new song. Singing in the Rain/Blue Moon which Ken missed a word out of the text which made us laugh.
27 Mar Ken is back. We played 13 songs including Music Music Music, Happy Together, Route 66 and Blame it on the Bossa Nova. A Good turnout and a great sound.
