We meet fortnightly and the venue varies (please refer to the Events page for information).
All walks start at 10 a.m. unless otherwise stated and are usually around 5 miles and of no more than medium difficulty. We generally finish with a pub lunch or similar, but there is no obligation to stay. Please inform the leader if you intend to walk (not later than 9.00 pm on the evening before). If there is any doubt about the walk going ahead because of the weather, please ring the leader on the morning of the walk.
If you are leading a walk it is sensible to have a mobile phone with you, if you have one, and to make your number available to the other walkers so if anyone is delayed in reaching the meeting point or needs to contact you for any reason once you have left home, they can do so.

| Wed May 1st | Great Whittington Park around village avoiding entrance to farm building manufacturer. Under 6 miles on field paths, farm tracks and lanes. Only one stile but some muddy gateways. This walk is moderately demanding but there is a shortcut for those wanting an easier option Lunch probably at the Robin Hood as pub in village is not open. Athol tel. 603131 |
