Scottish Country Dancing
Scottish Country Dancing group are enthusiastic dancers and our expert, Wendy, guides us through the intricacies of each dance with great patience! There is much laughter linked with our difficulties trying to make the feet follow the instructions from the mind. But what satisfaction when we get all together!
Some dances tackled recently include: New Year Jig, Rainbow’s End, Cromalt, Old Man of Storr, Barmkin, Circassian Circle. These are reels and we have tried Strathspeys too – Lady Lucy Ramsay, Monymusk.
We meet from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays at the Bishopmill Hall. The Group Leader is Judy Ross.
We resume after our summer break on 12th September. New members and beginners are very welcome.
