| Walking | |
| Thu May 2nd | Walking at the Orrell Water Park, Lodge Lane, Orrell, WN5 7AT. The walk is around the lake and then to eat at the Straw Bale Cafe which is a farm cafe. There is parking at the park, please meet at 10.15 to begin the walk at 10.30. The walk is about 45 minutes to an hour around the lake.. Then up to the cafe which takes about 25 minutes. Some paths can be muddy so please wear appropriate footwear. Overall the walk is flat. Please email Norma Harrower on nelhorrower@gmail to confirm if you are going also whether or not you are going to the cafe as the cafe needs definite numbers for those eating. |
