Greater Thame

History

The history group is a joint group with the Thame & District U3A. We meet on the first Monday of the month at 10.15 am in the Guide HQ in Thame. We are an informal group, rather than a study group, and have talks on all aspects of history, including local history. Following the ethos of the U3A, all our talks are given by U3A members. We sometimes go on outings locally and have a social in December with a quiz. Everyone with an interest in history is welcome to come to all or some of our meetings.
