History Out and About
Group Organiser: Angela Adams
Venue: Variable - check below.
When: Generally the 3rd Wednesday of the month - although, see below, also some Sundays.
Wednesday sessions will, normally, leave Daventry between 9:30 and 10:00 arriving back after 12 noon.
On Sundays we will, normally, leave at 1:30pm
The group will be visiting surrounding villages and towns (or parts of towns).
During each visit we will be guided and informed by a resident, often a member of their local history society.
If weather is bad, particularly during winter months, then we could well be sheltering in the church or village hall.
Some sessions will require a charge while others do not BUT a donation would be much appreciated. Refreshments may be available on some of the sessions, either during or after, sometimes as part of the visit.
There are different suitable numbers - so if interested - book early!
