Literature
We are very pleased to re-start our monthly meetings and our group objectives are shown below.
1. We will continue to visit Literature related theatre and cinema events, authors readings and book signings etc.
2. Discussions based on poetry and prose inspired by a specific theme will be a mainstay as will individual presentations based on a favourite book or author. These will be the basis for an annual or bi-ennial anthology. Members can view the latest Poem of the week and an anthology with live index of poems previously chosen by following the links on this page. (You will need a password to access these documents).
3. We will continue to write short pieces of original work on a voluntary basis which, when there is sufficient, will be produced in the form of a published book.
