Message to all Members of Wellington u3a
Members will be pleased to know that the Science Group is starting again. It will take place on the last Thursday of the month, starting on 22nd February from 1.30pm to 3.30pm at the Arts Centre in Eight Acre Lane off South Street near Wellington School. There is limited parking there, so please car-share if you can.
This month Paddy has arranged for a speaker to talk on Bhopal.
Next month’s talks are on Rachel Carson, (she wrote Silent Spring and it’s a short bio on the 60th anniversary of her death), intestinal worms and there will be a hands on session about blood pressure.
Ideas for future months are:- The World Wide Web and Nutrient depletion.
