Quilting
We meet on the first Monday of each month at my house from 2pm until 4pm. We do have two places to fill, so if anyone would like to come along to see us and how we work they will be made very welcome. Please get in touch.
The Quilting Group re-started in August.
We have a nice lady that can do Quilting wonderfully, and helps with all our problems. It is a light hearted group, who all help each other and we have a good time; plenty of Tea, Coffee and Laughter!
Quilting doesn’t mean you have to make a large quilt, the techniques and designs can be adapted to make cushion covers, pictures, bags, table mats, Christmas table centres the list is endless. We even have made decorations for the festive season.
Years ago the art of quilting gave the name to friendship quilts, and our small friendly group certainly lives up to the name. We share ideas and equipment helping each other to create our master pieces. We currently have space for two people, so if you can use a needle and thread, why not come along and join us and give it a go.
