We are an enthusiastic group of bridge players all aiming to “improve”. We’re past the Beginners stage and know (most of) the basic rules (but not necessarily follow them). We play “social bridge” in that although we want to play the game well, we do not play as in a formal bridge club. We want it to be a learning experience for all and encourage questions at the table such as “Do I understand from your bid, partner that….?” and “How many points do I have to have to overbid with 1NT?” We have to know each other’s availability to play each time as we need 4 for a table.
