Use this to find out when meetings or groups meet, and any special events we may be holding. A list of events is found below or via this link.

Committee Meetings
These are held on the first Tuesday each month at 10.00am.

Monthly Meetings
These are held on the 4th Monday each month, with the talk starting at 10:30am. This event is open to all members.
When the 4th Monday is a Bank Holiday, the meeting is held on the third Monday or the fifth Monday as appropriate'.

Annual General Meeting will be held in Gloucester Guildhall, Eastgate Street.

"Subs & Clubs" meeting is when as many Group Leaders attend to present their activities and to speak to the members who attend to encourage and/or invite new members to join.
This meeting is also when new membership cards can be picked up (if already paid in advance) and the payment of new or renewal of memberships.

This meeting is held at the Baptist Church, Southgate Street. This event is open to all members.

Tue May 28thLocal HistoryOur speaker for May is Ian Boskett and he will be presenting 'A walk down Memory Lane via Steam, Tram and Horse' The meeting is in the Gloucester, Guildhall at 10:30am. Car parking is available above the Guldhall with access to the Guildhall via the lift.

Wed Jun 5thHorticultureHorticulture study visit by coach to the National Trust Hidcote Manor Gardens, nr Chipping Campden. The gardens are divided into a series of outdoor 'rooms'. There is a restaurant, seating, toilets, shop and plant centre. Gardens are 80% accessible for wheelchairs. Cobbled paths may be slippery when wet. The coach leaves at 9.20 a.m. various pick up times, returning at 3.30 p.m. Please see the booking form for further details.

Wed Jul 3rdHorticultureHorticulture Group study visit by coach to the National Trust Knightshayes Court, nr Tiverton, Devon. The Gothic Revival House is set in parkland, with an outstanding botanical collection. Other features include a water garden, walled garden. The Stables Cafe serves hot and cold food, seating and toilets. The coach will depart at 9 a.m. various pick ups. Returning at 3.30 p.m. Booking form available from Horticulture Group.

Brothers George and Ira were born in New York but their Grandfather came from Odessa, Ukraine.
George’s music and Ira’s words were to provide us with hjundreds of popular songs and one of the
most important American operas “Porgy and Bess”.
