Short Mat Bowls
This friendly group meet at the Youth Centre in Spinning School Lane every Wednesday at 2 – 4 pm, except the second Wednesday of each month (the day of the main monthly meeting).
At present we have a number of regular members who all enjoy a friendly game. Bowls can be loaned from the U3A free of charge. To protect the mats, flat soled shoes or trainers are required. The mixed nature of the sport has created a great social and friendly atmosphere and offers plenty of occasions for single players to play.
