Philosophy, Science, and Metaphysics
Fortnightly, Friday afternoons, at the ETNA Centre, Twickenham
This group focuses on the philosophical subject of metaphysics in its broadest sense: the quest to understand the world, and our place in it as thinking human beings. We will consider contributions to this subject by both scientists and philosophers, and may study contributions to the subject that are outside current mainstream thinking.
You do not need to be clever or intellectual, or even knowledgeable about the subjects we discuss: you do need to have a genuine interest in the subject, an open-mind and a desire to improve your own understanding.
