The Literature Group has been active for more than 28 years. We have read over 200 of the classics so far, plus a number of good modern classics and novels by well respected writers. The class takes the form of reading 50 to 100 pages of the chosen book and this is followed every two weeks by discussions about various aspects of the book. These sessions talk about the social conditions, personality, scenery, and any other subjects which evolve. They could be political or religious subjects, as they appear, we give them a good airing and usually find over the years we have gleaned an amazing amount of interesting information about numerous subjects.
