Wine Appreciation 1
Members take it in turns to host the meeting. A host chooses four or five wines representing a type, a country or geographical area, a grape, or what they wish. Food (as simple as possible e.g. bread and cheese) is provided by the host.
Occasionally a 'blind tasting' is organised.
These meetings take place in members' homes on the second Wednesday of each month from 12.30 until 3 pm.
The cost of wine and food is met by the host. This is a once a year commitment and the host is free to select wines at whatever price range he or she feels suitable or interesting for the occasion.
