Walking
Walking is normally on the third Tuesday in the month, we meet up at the start of the walk at approx 10am and are usually back at the cars at approx 3:00 - 3:30 pm. The circular walks vary between 7 to 10 miles and members take snacks, a picnic lunch and plenty of fluid.
Walks involve stiles and take in various terrain. Some walks do not include public toilets. Car sharing is encouraged.
A reasonable level of fitness is required and walkers are expected to wear appropriate clothing and walking footwear. Use of walking poles may be beneficial.
