The Walkers will meet at 10.00am Wednesday 27 March at ‘The Sun’, Trevor. (GR SJ 242424. PC LL20 8EG). Turn right off the A483 Chester-Wrexham-Oswestry road at Ruabon on to A539 sp Llangollen. Pub is on the right approx 11/2 miles beyond Trevor. Lovely canal walk, with some paths and roads and few gradients.
The Walkers will meet at 10.00am Wednesday 24 April at ‘The Leigh Arms’, Warrington Road, Little Leigh, Northwich (GR SJ 602761, PC CW8 4QT). Interesting walk using stretches of the Trent and Mersey Canal and the Weaver Navigation. Turn left off the A556 Chester-Northwich road at the Sandiway lights onto the A49 SP Warrington, the pub is on the right in approx. 3.75miles immediately after crossing the Acton Road Bridge over The Weaver Navigation.
