STROLLERS
This is a cheerful and highly successful group, the undoubted popularity of which may be ascribed equally to the health-giving properties of gentle to moderate exercise in the open air and lunch afterwards in carefully selected pubs.
The Strollers will meet at 10.30am Friday 10th May 2024 at ‘The Sun’, Trevor, (GR.SJ242424. PC LL20 8EG.) Turn right off the A483 Chester-Wrexham-Oswestry Road at Ruabon onto the A539 SP Llangollen. The pub is on the right approx. 1.5miles beyond Trevor. This is the first time we’ve been back for a stroll since Sept. 2018 and many of you will remember that there are real gradients as we drive up onto the ‘Panorama Walk but only flat surfaced roads with fabulous views for the whole outing at the top.
(I don’t hold myself responsible for Glaciers, Avalanches, Landslides, Watershutes or anything the Welsh Tourist Board hasn’t communicated to us in good time.) When on the hill try and restrain yourselves if you feel the sudden urge to walk at speeds in excess of 20MPH. I am reliably informed they may be out with the Speed Cameras and they take no prisoners
