Our group continues to flourish, but we do restrict our number to twelve, so, unfortunately are unable to take new members. We are all up to at least intermediate level now and aiming for advanced level. We are very enthusiastic and try to encourage and help each other
Hilary is still our Leader and administrator and does a wonderful job of organising us and keeping us in order. We are all quite outspoken, so this is no easy task - but, at the same time as working hard, we have lots of fun.
We meet every Monday morning at The Sharman’s Cross, where we take it in turns to lead each session. We usually have two themes for discussion and are also studying a book.
This week we celebrated the 90th Birthday of one of our founder members, Pam Stretton. No one can believe that this remarkable lady is 90, she is a true inspiration to us all. We presented her with a huge bunch of flowers and delicious chocolate cake, which, of course, we all helped her to eat.
