The Gardening Group have purchased a tree on behalf of Mawdesley u3a to commemorate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
On Wednesday 9th March the tree was planted on the Millennium Green.

We meet on the third MONDAY of each month usually at Charity Farm, WN6 9PP, from 1.15 p.m. to 3.15 p.m. New members welcome.
In the summer months we visit local garadens or go on garden trips.

Mon Jul 8th | Annual visit to an RHS garden - Bridgewater. Free entry, cost for coach only. Await further details on the website, newsletter or a wednesday coffee am. |
Mon Aug 12th | Visit to Southlands, 12 Sandy lane, Stretford. A private garden usually opened in NGS. Owned by Maureen Sawyer. Coach booked limited to 25 people. Await further details at wednesday coffee am, on the Newsletter and website. |
