Ealing

London revisited

You must be a Member of Ealing u3a to take part in an Interest Group

CURRENT GROUP STATUS

This group has now restarted visits to public buildings that are re-open for visits. The schedule/dates/costs of any New outings will be shown in 'Dates for Your Diary' below and in our regular Newsletter, with details of how to book a place on these.

=====================================

This group is dedicated to providing our members with the opportunity to visit, within Greater London, buildings that are normally inaccessible to the general public but which can be arranged for pre booked groups such as ours with the benefit of in-house guides.

The places of interest can include museums, churches, historic guilds, exhibitions, trade and professional organisations, palaces and other historic buildings as well as occasional guided walks.

Our usual day for such outings is the last Wednesday of the month although we try to arrange an occasional outing on the Tuesday. Certain venues are, however, only available on other midweek days. We arrange approximately 10 events within the year.

Where possible we look to arrange places for 20/25 members (some venues will allow more) and also try to include tea/coffee within the cost of the outings.

This is not a closed group and is open to all members providing they register their interest with the group leader. The schedule/dates/costs of the outings are displayed in 'Dates for Your Diary' below and also on the EVENTS page of the Ealing U3A website. The group convener will also announce the outing at our Thursday morning meetings and will how to book a place on any of these outings.
