| Mon May 20th | 42nd Street We have provisionally booked seats to view the Tony Award winning stage musical version of 42nd Street filmed live at the Theatre Royal in London’s West End being shown at The Kinema In The Woods, Woodhall Spa for Monday 20th May 2024 at 1pm. If you would like to join us in this unique cinema, the price is £13 per person. This is a small venue with a limited number of seats, so it’s first come, first served! | Thu May 30th | Gordon Roswell Romany Museum As part of our varied program of events for 2024 we have arranged a visit to the Gordon Boswell Romany Museum in Spalding for Thursday 30th May 2024 at 2pm. The cost is £9.50 per person and this includes an introduction, tour, discussion, and a short film followed by a beverage and biscuits. Find out more about the Gordon Boswell Romany Museum. |
| Wed Jun 5th | Grimsthorpe Castle Grimsthorpe Castle Park and Gardens are located in the village of Grimsthorpe which is near Bourne. We have arranged a visit to the estate which includes a guided tour of the castle by one of their knowledgeable guides on Wednesday 5th June 2024. The tour of the castle commences at 2pm but we are suggesting that we arrive at noon for a ‘bring your own’ picnic. Both indoor seating and outdoor picnic benches are available. As an alternative to a picnic takeaway food and drinks are available to be purchased. The price of this tour is £15 per person. This includes the castle tour and also free-flow access to the park and gardens. Free parking is available on site. Toilets including those with facilities for disabled people are available. | Mon Jul 8th | Burghley House Join us on Monday 8th July 2024 for a guided tour of beautiful Burghley House, a magical home of magnificent State Rooms, awe inspiring works of art and priceless treasures. The tour will commence at 10am and we recommend you arrive no later than 9.45am. The cost of the tour which will be led by an official guide is £16.00 per person. The cost of the ticket also includes admission to the gardens which you are free to explore on your own after the house tour. If the weather is fine we are suggesting that you bring a picnic for lunch or you can avail yourself of refreshments at the Garden Café. Find out more about Burghley House. |
