French Conversation
Group Leader: Sue Smith
We meet to practise French conversation and explore interests in all things French. We have varying levels of fluency, and frequently help each other with vocabulary and grammar, but there is no teacher and we do not do lessons.
Sometimes, we select topics in advance, and members generally aim to prepare a 10 minute ‘activity’, which may mean telling the group about something that is happening in France, or a personal interest, or involving others in a quiz or game. The objective is to generate conversation.
We are a very sociable group, who enjoy sharing our love of France, and are happy to welcome new members.
