Branston & District

Family History

We meet at the Branston Pavilion on the 4th Monday of the month at 10 a.m until midday. Chris Hodson is the Group Convenor who can be contacted via the Groups Coordinator.

It is an informal discussion group where members can exchange information & ideas about how to pursue research around their own “Family Tree” and to help other members of the group who are having problems with their research. It is always interesting to hear the progress being made by other members in the group.

We have one member who has a fairly extensive knowledge, although other people in the group are gradually developing their own expertise, and therefore can offer guidance to newcomers as to how to go about researching this interesting subject.

It is important for members to have use of their own computers as most of the research is done at home.
