Social History

The Social History Group is a thriving, friendly group.

Our members participate in and contribute to vibrant and lively discussions, investigate interesting topics and exchange views and experiences. The programme for the year is democratically planned by the group, click the link in the side bar to see what we have planned for the coming year.

We usually meet at Colville House between 10.00 am and noon on the 3rd Monday of each month, but check with our programme in case we have a visit arranged or change of venue.

Earlier in the year it was suggested that everyone brought along to the December meeting a homemade Christmas decoration. The idea is you bring one along and take another home. So please do not bring something that is very precious to you. I’m sure you’ve all made something for your Christmas tree in the past. It’s just a bit of fun so please enter into the spirit of the swap
