Reading Short Stories
We meet on Zoom every Monday between 2pm and 3.30 pm.
Members bring along short stories, poems, extracts from books and magazines and, on occasions, some of their own work.
The subject matter can be serious, informative, or simply amusing, but whatever the topic it invariably generates debate.
They say that reading aloud, like singing, is good for one's well-being and we have found this to be so.
We are always happy to welcome new members and guarantee excellent coffee, chocolate biscuits and a good view should you become tired of listening.
