Natural History

We meet in January each year to plan our year’s activities and the programme is published in the news letter. We visit various locations around the Chelmsford area looking at various aspects of the environment. In the winter months we bird watch ,noting the number of migrants that visit rivers and surrounding fields. Spring is when we look at the wild flowers and look for orchids in any different locations and watch for nesting birds. In summer and autumn we explore various different habitats to see how the seasons are changing.

It is possible for people to car share and the walking is not too challenging!

We would welcome anybody with an interest in the environment and how climate change is affecting our wildlife and their habitats.
