Hurst, Hassocks & Ditchling

Family & Social History

Purpose: We are a small, friendly group who help each other to research our family history and social aspects, using various resources including online archives. Occasionally, we visit the Burgess Hill U3A Genealogy group, who meet the day before, to hear one of their speakers so we may decide to use that, in lieu of our meeting.

We meet on the 1st Friday in the month, from 2pm to 4pm.

Venue: usually a private house in Hassocks

Contact just click on the blue text.

Our next meeting: will be on Friday 6th March 2pm again at Tony’s house in Hurstpierpoint - details will be emailed out.
The discussion topic: Licensed Victuallers . Some have these in their family tree. Some research on this occupation would be welcome.Bring any family search queries.
