NORDIC POLE WALKING

Leader: Anne Cottenham Tel: 01604 405005
Deputy Leader: Helen Caves Tel: 01604 754928

We meet every Friday of the month at 10.30am at the Race Course, for a brisk walk lasting about an hour.

Nordic Pole Walking uses more muscles than normal walking, it strengthens the arms, torso and back muscles more efficiently, improving posture and puts less strain on the knees, hips and spine. The leader can show you how to use them effectively.
Poles are available to borrow for your initial walk.
However, not everyone uses poles and some just enjoy a brisk walk around the race course, with pleasant company.

For more information please phone or email the leader using the link on the top right.
