NORDIC POLE WALKING

Leader: Jenny Gaskill Tel: 01604 634257

We meet on the 3rd Friday of the month at 11.00am at various locations.
Nordic Pole Walking uses more muscles than normal walking, it strengthens the arms, torso and back muscles more efficiently, improving posture and puts less strain on the knees, hips and spine. The leader can show you how to use them effectively.
Poles are available to borrow for your initial walk.

For more information please phone or email the leader using the link on the top right.

THIRD AGE MATTERS

Howard’s “Health and Well-Being” contribution to “U3A Sources”, plus photographs, is an excellent ‘summing up’ of our 3 groups’ objective - to provide a varied ‘walks’ experience, with an informal social gathering over lunch. Thank you, Howard, for your ‘in-depth’ observations, gathered with Cicely, over many years, at all levels.
Clive & Chris
